I just finished reading the Pickens Plan, proposed by T. Boone Pickens. We really need people to read this and formulate an opinion on this.
Please go to their site and read the plan.

It is time that we start doing something about reducing our reliance on oil.
This seems a good as any other idea I have heard.

Useful Toolbar
As mentioned before, I am involved with the VFW here in Northern New Hampshire. Recently a group from North Carolina came and instructed me on how to manage our Post Weblog. I that presentation, they told us about the VFW Department Toolbars which have some great features.
I use mine all the time and find it very helpful.

New VFW Post 816 Website
As you probably don't know, I am very involved with my local VFW Post. So since time is critical, I have not had too much time to keep this venture up to date.
Check out our Post's new website

NH Primary just ahead
Only a short time until we here in NH will help decide who will become frontrunners in the 2008 race for President of the United States.
It seems that some polls have Republican Mike Huckabee pulling ahead of Mitt Romney by quite a substantial margin. Having actor Chuck Norris in tow around the state has paid off for the former Arkansas governor.
On the Democratic side Senator Barack Obama is inching ahead of former First Lady Hillary Clinton. I was fortunate enough to be in attendance when Ms. Oprah Winfrey was in Manchester supporting Obama.
It was quite an experience to see how a television icon touches people from all walks of life.
